Explanation of Rates and Charges
Activation is subject to credit approval; a deposit may be required. A compatible Digital multi-network phone and an annual contract are required. After the first 30 days of service, an early cancellation fee of $150 will apply. Invoices are due on receipt. Late charges of 1.5% (AK 0.875%, AR 0.85%, NE 1.33%, WI 1.0%) per month are charged on amounts not paid within 20 days of receipt of invoice.
AT&T Wireless will be your wireless long distance provider. Digital PCS Features require a compatible Digital multi-network phone, are only available in the Digital PCS Features Area, and may require local telephone company support, and message sender access to computer and modem. Call Waiting, 3-way Conference Calling and voice mail will incur applicable airtime, roaming and wireless long distance charges. Call forwarding usage will be charged at 10¢ per minute, plus applicable wireless long distance and will not apply towards your included minutes. Your included minutes apply to calls placed and received when in your Home Calling Area. Roaming rates apply to calls placed and received when outside this area. Applicable wireless long distance charges will be billed for calls placed from your wireless phone. Wireless long distance charges for calls received while roaming are calculated from your home area code to the location where you received the call. Due to delayed reporting between carriers, wireless usage may be billed in a subsequent month; this usage will be charged as if used in the month billed. If a calling card or credit card is required to complete a call, different rates apply.
Airtime is measured during the time you are connected to our system, which is approximately from the time you press SEND or other button to initiate or answer the call until approximately the time you press END or other button to terminate the call. Airtime for each call is billed in full minute increments with partial minutes rounded up to the next full minute. Unused included minutes cannot be carried over to any subsequent month. There is no charge for busy or unanswered calls if you end the call within one minute, while in an AT&T Wireless area. When you place a call, while in an AT&T Wireless area, and it is dropped, if you call that party back within one minute, our system will automatically credit your account for one minute of airtime, provided your included minutes have been depleted. For any other dropped calls, contact Customer Care for credit information. Availability and reliability of service are subject to radio transmission limitations caused by system capacity, system repairs and modifications, your equipment, terrain, signal strength, weather and other conditions. Coverage is not available in all areas of the United States.
Eligibility requirements, pricing, features and calling areas are subject to change without notice. Your service is subject to the Terms and Conditions contained in your AT&T Wireless Welcome Guide, which is included with your phone or available at point-of-purchase.

AT&T Canada Calling:
Only available with the AT&T Digital One Rate Calling Plans. AT&T
Canada Calling must appear in our records on the last day of the billing
period to receive the benefits for that particular billing period. All
activations and deactivations of AT&T Canada Calling will become
effective on the first day of the current billing period.
Free2Go Wireless from AT&T:
A compatible Digital multi-network phone is required. AT&T Wireless
will provide your wireless long distance. Service is not available for
purchase in all areas. You must be over the age of 18 and legally
competent to purchase service. Digital PCS Features require a compatible
Digital multi-network phone, are only available in the Digital PCS
Features Area, and may require local telephone company support, and
message sender access to computer and modem. Call Waiting, 3-way
Conference Calling and voice mail will incur applicable airtime or roaming
and applicable international wireless long distance charges. If an
incoming call has been forwarded to another phone number, you will be
charged 25¢ per minute for the entire time that our switch handles the
call, plus applicable long distance. Not all features or service offerings
are available for purchase. You cannot purchase AT&T Digital PocketNet
service.
Your home airtime rates apply to calls placed and received when in your
Home Calling Area. Roaming rates apply to calls placed and received when
outside this area. Rates are not available when using your phone outside
the United States. Applicable international wireless long distance charges
will be billed for calls placed from your wireless phone. International
rates vary and are subject to change. If a credit card is required to
complete a call, different rates apply. When in these areas, you will not
be able to receive calls.
For all incoming calls, the length of the call will be measured during
the time that you are connected to our system, which is approximately from
the time you press "Send" or other key to answer a call until
approximately the time you press "End," or other key to
terminate the call. For all outgoing calls, the length of the call will be
measured from when you are released by the automated balance notification
system until approximately the time you press "End," or other
key to terminate the call. Airtime usage on each call is deducted in full
minute increments, with partial minutes of use rounded up to the next full
minute. For calls placed in the United States, you will not be charged for
busy or unconnected calls if you press "End" or "No"
within a reasonable time. Availability and reliability of service are
subject to radio transmission limitations caused by system capacity,
system repairs and modifications, your equipment, terrain, signal
strength, weather and other conditions. Coverage is not available in all
areas of the United States.
All charges incurred will be deducted automatically from your account.
Any amounts loaded into your account are not transferable or refundable.
No refunds or other compensation will be given for returned, expired, lost
or stolen cards. The maximum account balance at any time is $1000. Funds
deposited to your account expire after 90 days. However, if additional
funds are placed into your account before the current account balance
expires, the existing balance will be carried over to the new expiration
date. If new funds are not added to your account prior to the expiration
date any remaining funds will be forfeited and you may lose your wireless
number. Credit card replenishment is available; limitations apply. You
cannot use the Service to place calls to 500, 700, 855, 900 or 976
numbers; or to place operator-assisted calls such as third-party-billed,
and collect calls. You will be billed at domestic rates for 800, 888, 866,
877 and other "toll free" calls. Other than calls to 911 and
611, you can only make and receive calls when your account has a positive
balance. When placing calls when not using the AT&T Wireless network
special dialing patterns may be required. There may be a surcharge for
incoming calls made from pay phones. You may not change to a standard post
paid calling plan without credit approval and selection of a new calling
plan. Upon migration to a post paid plan any remaining prepaid balance
will be lost. Your service is subject to the Terms and Conditions
contained in your user guide, which is included with your phone or
available at point-of-purchase.
