Realme Launches Cheapest 50MP Camera Phone: Realme C25Y Price, Specs & More Details

Realme has expanded its line of C series phones in India today. The company launched Realme C25Y in the country at Rs 11,999. The handset comes with attractive specs such as 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and a Unisoc processor. Realme C25Y is also the cheapest smartphone to date with a 50MP camera.
Realme C25Y: Price and availability
Realme C25Y is priced at Rs 11,999. The handset is offered in Glacier Blue and Metal Gray color options. Pre-orders for the phone will begin on September 20 at 12 p.m. ET.
The handset will be available in the country through Flipkart and as well as in offline retail stores across the country. Realme C25Y will compete with Realme’s Poco M3, Samsung Galaxy F22 and Realme C25.
Realme C25Y: Specifications
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.5-inch HD + display with an aspect ratio of 20: 9, a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a resolution of 1600×720 pixels. The phone offers a screen-to-body ratio of 88.7%.
Realme C25Y is powered by the octa-core Unisoc T610 processor paired with the Arm Mali-G52 GPU. The phone runs on Realme UI based on the Android 11 operating system. It offers 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage capacity. The storage can be expanded up to 256 GB using a microSD card.
On the camera side, the handset offers triple sensors on the back. The camera system includes a 50MP primary lens with f / 1.8 aperture, a 2MP portrait lens with f / 2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro lens with f / 2.4 aperture. The handset houses an 8MP camera with an f / 2.0 aperture.
The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery. The connectivity features available on the phone are 4G, Bluetooth version 5.0, WiFi IEEE802.11 b / g / n, GPS and 3.5mm headphone jack.
