Realme X Pro priced the Snapdragon 855 phone at £ 260 / $ 340

Sharing is loving!

Last year, the Pocophone F1 was the most affordable flagship device of the year. Right now the Xiaomi Mi 9 is the cheapest Snapdragon 855 phone we can buy, but if you want UK stocks the Black Shark 2 is a bit cheaper.

This year we might have more options, although those will likely need to be imported. Both the Realme X Pro and the Redmi X of the same name aim to be two of the more affordable options out there.

Several new leaks have appeared regarding the Realme X. Like many phones these days it can come in several variations, the Realme X is guaranteed but the other two are still speculation. TENNA listings confirm that there are two certified models (RMX1901 and RMX1851), which confirms claims that there will be multiple variants.

The normal Realme X will be powered by the new Snapdragon 730 and come equipped with a 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup. The front camera will be a pop-up leaving the 6.5-inch screen without a notch.

The screen of the Realme X will be protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and it will be equipped with a sixth generation on-screen fingerprint reader. TENAA also revealed that the smartphone has a battery with a minimum capacity of 3,680mAh. The new leak says it will support VOOC 3.0 flash charging technology.

The Realme X will be released in China in three models such as 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. These models are rumored to be respectively priced at 1,599 yuan (£ / $ 181
237.42), 1,799 yuan (£ 204 / $ 267) and 1,999 yuan (£ 227 / £ 296).

Realme X Pro

The Realme X Pro is rumored to be released in China in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. Both models can come with 128 GB of native storage. These variants could be respectively priced at 2,299 Yuan (£ 260 / $ 340) and 2,599 Yuan (£ 295 / $ 386).

Redmi has teased the launch of a Snapdragon 855 phone, so the confidence behind this rumor is reasonably high.

With the prices listed above, if they are correct, it will be for their country of launch. Once companies like Gearbest sell them, there will be a small premium to pay.
