CUSTOMERS can now pay for in-store purchases using their smartphones, as Starbucks Malaysia recently launched a mobile payment app, applicable at its 171 outlets nationwide.
With the Starbucks Card Mobile App, customers are assured of the fastest and most convenient way to pay their Starbucks bill. Simply hold your mobile device in front of a scanner located on the counter and scan the barcode on the screen of the Starbucks Card mobile app during checkout.
In addition to the handy mobile payment capability, the app allows customers to track and view their Starbucks purchases, check their card balance, top up their card with any major credit card, check their “stars” on My Starbucks Rewards and even find out where the nearest Starbucks is with the store locator feature. âThe Starbucks Card mobile app enables fast and convenient in-store payments and loyalty card service that rewards customers. It’s all part of Starbucks’ innovation to enrich the lives of our customers, âsaid Sydney Quays, Managing Director of Starbucks Malaysia and Brunei. The Starbucks Card mobile app shares the same benefits as the Starbucks Card.
